Transaction in own shares

Diversified Gas & Oil plc (AIM: DGO), the US based owner and operator of natural gas, natural gas liquids and oil wells as well as midstream assets, announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 30 April 2019 it has purchased 477,023 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") in the market at a volume weighted average price of 110.523 pence per Share at the discretion of Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited ("Stifel").  The Shares acquired will be held in treasury for cancellation.

Highest price paid per share:	110.796 pence
Volume weighted average price paid per share:	110.523 pence

The number of ordinary shares in issue is 694,169,088 (including treasury shares) and following the purchase of the Shares, the Company will hold 15,919,671 ordinary shares in treasury. Therefore, the total voting rights in DGO will be 678,249,417. This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
