Domino's Pizza UK & IRL PLC 22 April 2004 For Immediate Release 22 April 2004 Domino's Pizza UK&IRL plc ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING STATEMENT AIM-listed Domino's Pizza UK&IRL plc ('the Company' or 'Domino's', symbol: DOM), the UK's leading pizza delivery company, held its Annual General Meeting at noon today. Chief Executive, Stephen Hemsley, updated shareholders on current trading and future prospects, saying: 'System sales in the first 16 weeks of the year to 18 April 2004 were up 18.6% on the previous year (2003: 19.2%) to £49.7m (2003: £41.9m). In the same period, like-for-like sales were up 4.7% (2003: 7.6%). 'I am very pleased to report that Domino's has maintained satisfactory growth in like-for-like sales thanks to a continued focus on food quality and the high level of service we provide to customers. Moreover, the positive impact of our expansion programme is clearly evidenced in total system sales increases. 'A total of eight new stores have opened since the start of the year (2003: ten) and our strong pipeline of new properties means that we look forward to maintaining this momentum. As at today, there are 326 Domino's Pizza stores open and trading in the UK and Ireland.
