Domino's Pizza UK & IRL PLC 18 January 2000 DOMINOS PIZZA UK & IRL PLC CHRISTMAS SALES TRADING STATEMENT Dominos Pizza UK & IRL plc ('Dominos Pizza'), which is quoted on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange (symbol: DOM) announces sales performance for the year and the Christmas period. - Total sales across the Dominos system in the UK and the Republic of Ireland for 1999 grew 15.7% to £63.5 m (1998 £54.9m). - For the 9 weeks ended 26 December 1999, mature delivery stores, those in operation for more than 12 months, increased sales by 4.7%. - E-commerce initiatives: Internet ordering (www.dominos.co.uk) for all stores in the UK successfully launched. Interactive TV ordering on the BIB Open platform continues to build. - Opened 200th store in West India Dock Road near Canary Wharf just before Christmas. - During 1999 29 new delivery stores opened and 3 experimental stores were closed bringing the year end total to 201. Stephen Hemsley, Finance Director commented: 'During our first Christmas as a public company Dominos Pizza has continued to increase sales. Our new store design is being well received and our internet and interactive television offering continues to build interest.
