                 Purchase of Shares in Buyback Programme

The Company announces that it purchased 125,000 of its ordinary shares of 5
pence each on 14 March 2007, through Numis Securities Limited at a price of
£6.46 per share. These shares will be cancelled and will reduce the number of
shares in issue to 51,478,284.

Following the cancellation of such shares, the Company's issued share capital
consists of 51,478,284 ordinary shares all with voting rights.
