AGM Trading Update
Ahead of today's Annual General Meeting, to be held at 11am, DP Poland announces a trading update for the period from 1 January 2017 to date.
· Trading in line with management expectations
· 21% like-for-like* growth in System Sales** Q1 2017
· 8 new stores opened to-date in 2017
· 43 stores in 16 towns and cities
· Pipeline of more store openings for 2017 and 2018
· New commissary under construction
Peter Shaw, Chief Executive of DP Poland said:
"2017 has started positively with 21% like-for-like System Sales growth in the first quarter. We have opened 8 stores to date in 2017, an unprecedented number in just over 4 months. We are continuing to identify a strong pipeline of store locations for further openings in 2017 and into 2018."
* Like-for-like growth in PLN, matching trading periods for the same stores between 1 January and 31 March 2016 and 1 January and 31 March 2017
** System Sales - total retail sales including sales from corporate and sub-franchised stores, unaudited.
