                               ANALYST SITE VISIT

Drax is hosting a site visit at 09:30am today for analysts. The Company will
provide a tour of the power station as well as presentations on on the future 
of UK generation, power market challenges and opportunities post 2007, and 
plans for the turbine upgrade and biomass project. Copies of the presentations 
are available on the Investor Centre section of the Drax website.

No new price sensitive information will be disclosed in the presentations which
will form part of this visit, nor will there be any statement on current
trading.
