                      RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

The share interests of the under-noted directors and persons discharging
managerial responsibility have increased following the Award of Free Shares
under the Drax Group plc Approved Share Incentive Plan (the 'Plan') on 
23 April 2007. In accordance with the rules of the Plan these shares will be 
held in trust by Capita IRG Trustees Limited and registered in the name 
TD Waterhouse Nominees (Europe) Limited a/c CESNOMS.

The notifications below are all in accordance with DR 3.1.4 R(1)(a) and 
DR 3.1.4 R(1)(b)
