                          CHANGE IN STATUS OF CHAIRMAN

As foreshadowed in the Listing Particulars issued by Drax on 28 October 2005 in
advance of listing on 15 December 2005, Gordon Horsfield has, with effect from 7
March 2006, relinquished his executive responsibilites and henceforth assumes
the role of Non-Executive Chairman.
