The Half Year Report is being posted to registered shareholders today, Friday 21 August 2009. 

The Half Year Report will also be available from 24 August 2009 as follows:

• by writing to the Company Secretary at the Registered Office: Drax Power Station, Selby, North Yorkshire YO8 8PH.

Interim dividend

Detailed below are the key dates regarding the interim dividend:

16 September 2009 - ordinary shares marked ex-interim dividend 

18 September 2009 - record date for entitlement to the interim dividend

7 October 2009 - payment of the interim  dividend

The rate of the interim dividend is 4.1 pence per share.
