Drax has received a notification today, from Lehman Brothers International
(Europe) ('Lehman Brothers'), advising that as at the close of business on 01
June 2006, the interest of Lehman Brothers in the ordinary share capital of Drax
had fallen below 3% and as such Lehman Brothers no longer has a notifiable
interest in Drax.


Prior to this notification the last stated holding of Lehman Brothers, as
announced on 19 April 2006, was of 3.81% of the ordinary share capital of Drax.


The number of ordinary shares of Drax currently in issue is 407,085,395.
