      PRELIMINARY RESULTS PRESENTATION MEETING AND CALL - IN ARRANGEMENTS

As intimated in the RNS announcement made on 24 January 2006, Drax Group plc
will be presenting its full year results for the year ended 31 December 2005 on
Wednesday 8 March 2006. Further information regarding the results presentation
meeting and call in arrangements are detailed below.

A briefing for analysts and shareholders will be held at 9am (UK time) in the
Ayres Room at Deutsche Bank, Winchester House, 1 Great Winchester Street,
London, EC2N 2DB.
