Drax Group plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each through J.P. Morgan Securities plc.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Since 20 April 2018, the Company has purchased 8,719,137 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £30,503,626.85.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 8,719,137, of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 398,408,571 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
