                  Admission of new shares to trading on AIM



Billam Plc ('Billam') announces that application has been made for an
additional 13,385,594 new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each to be admitted to
trading on AIM.  These shares are being issued to World Life Sciences PLC 
('WLS') shareholders who have accepted Billam's offer for WLS subsequent to 23
November 2001.



Admission of these shares is expected to take place on 6 December 2001.  These
shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue.



The enlarged share capital of Billam after these shares have been admitted to
AIM is 1,108,488,242 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each.
