APPOINTMENT OF INVESTMENT ADVISERS TO THE BOARD
The company is pleased to announce its first two appointments: Dr Herbert
Sonntag and Tim Hearley as Investment Advisors to the Board of Directors.
Tim Hearley, aged 57 years, is an experienced chairman and director in listed
and private business. Currently Chairman of Nolan Plc, a Director of Moorepay
Group Plc (AIM Listed) until its sale in recent weeks for £40 million, and a
Director of the TUP Group Ltd - all businesses engaged in the computer
software and IT services sector. He has wide commercial experience,
encompassing many other industries including manufacturing, where he is
Chairman of Integral Plastics Group Plc. He has a broad background within the
automotive components sector and was a past Director and Chairman of Aston
Martin Lagonda Ltd between 1981 and 1985. Prior to this time, he was a
securities analyst with leading UK broking firms and later engaged within
corporate finance. Since 1993, through Vail Corporation Ltd, in a private
equity capacity, he has supported and invested successfully in a number of
businesses. Earlier this year he became a Director and significant investor in
Virgin Cars Ltd, and Chairman of Virgin Cars (UK) Ltd, which has launched an
e-commerce business, initially in the UK, to provide a full-service Internet
car-buying website.

Dr. Herbert Sonntag (born 1946) studied economic engineering at the Technical
University Berlin (1968-1973) and completed his doctoral thesis in Transport
Operations Research in 1977.
Herbert Sonntag was one of the founding partners of IVU GmbH Berlin in 1976
and held the position of Managing Director. Since its transformation into
IVU Traffic Technologies AG in 1999 he has been a Member of the Board and
responsible for Business Development and Investor Relations. IVU is a
significant European player in the field of software development for transport
logistics and personal mobility. Since the beginning of the eighties, Dr.
Sonntag has been involved in dealing with the problems associated with
commercial traffic logistics. The commercial traffic model developed by IVU
has been based largely on his research results, which were traffic concepts
and despatching software for freight traffic, both at a national economic
level as well as for the practical business of companies. His main focus now
is the integration of telematic components, Internet applications and e-
business in freight traffic as well as the implementation and dissemination of
marketable products.
Dr Sonntag is a member of a variety of logistics work groups and active in
several European projects in telematics and logistic applications. He has
dealt with the problems of commercial traffic in numerous publications
worldwide.
