                            Directors' Shareholdings


Billam Plc (the 'Company') has been informed today that Simon Bennett and
Nishith Malde, directors of the Company, have on 29 September 2006 acquired in
aggregate 60,000 Billam ordinary shares of 20p each. Mr Bennett acquired 25,000
shares at a price of 15.5 pence per share and Mr Malde's pension fund acquired
35,000 shares at a price of 14.125 pence per share. Following these purchases,
Mr Bennett holds 25,000 shares representing approximately 0.24 per cent. of the
issued share capital of the Company and Mr Malde holds 40,000 shares
representing approximately 0.38 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.
