                         DATE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING


The Board of Billam Plc, the investment company, announces that it expects to
release its preliminary results for the year to 30 September 2003 on Friday 27
February 2004.

The Company's Annual General Meeting will be held on 30 March 2004 at midday, at
the offices of KBC Peel Hunt Ltd., 111 Old Broad Street, London EC2V 7BU.
