Changes to Board of Directors

The Board of Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC ('Dunedin Enterprise') is pleased to announce the appointment of Federico Marescotti as a non-executive director with effect from 1 June 2009.

Federico Marescotti is Executive Chairman of Friulia Spa, Italy's leading publicly controlled finance company with total assets of about €1bn. He is also a director of Ecofin Water & Power Opportunities plc, JP Morgan European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc, Vela Capital S.r.l., TOI TOI Italia S.r.l and Simionato S.p.A.  In addition he sits on the Board of AIFI , the Italian association of Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Commenting on the appointment, Ned Dawnay, Chairman of Dunedin Enterprise said:

'I am delighted that Federico Marescotti has agreed to join Dunedin Enterprise as a non-executive director. His considerable experience of private equity and knowledge of European markets will complement the skills of the Board as a higher proportion of the Company's assets are invested into Europe in line with the investment strategy approved by shareholders in 2008.'

Federico Marescotti will also be a member of the Audit & Management Engagement Committee and the Nomination Committee.

Dunedin Enterprise discloses the foregoing information pursuant to Rules 9.6.11R and 9.6.13R of the UKLA Listing Rules.  There is no further information which would require disclosure under 9.6.13R of the UKLA Listing Rules.  These disclosures are based upon information provided by Mr Marescotti and have not been independently verified by Dunedin Enterprise.
