Repurchase of ordinary shares for cancellation

Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust plc announces that on 11 December, 2001 it
purchased for cancellation 50,000 Dunedin Enterprise ordinary shares in the
market at a price of 261p per ordinary share. There remain 31,221,934 shares
in issue.
