Purchase of own securities

Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust plc announces that on 21 June 2006 it
purchased for cancellation 86,000 ordinary shares in the market at a price of
422p per ordinary share and 25,000 ordinary shares in the market at a price of
420p per ordinary share. As a result of this purchase there remain 30,258,943
ordinary shares in issue.
