Appointment of a New Director


Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr Rory Macnamara as an independent non-executive Director to the
Board, with effect from 7 September 2005.


Mr Rory Macnamara qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse and
worked in merchant banking with Morgan Grenfell for 17 years (during which time
it was acquired by Deutsche Bank AG). He was a Director in Corporate Finance,
Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and Vice Chairman of Morgan Grenfell & Co
Limited. In 1999, he joined Lehman Brothers, where he was a Managing Director in
UK Investment Banking until 2001. He now acts as a consultant to a number of
companies and is currently Chairman of Izodia PLC and a director of Raven Mount
PLC and Private Equity Investor PLC.


Mr Macnamara currently has no beneficial interest in the shares of the Company.



Rory Macnamara is a director of Izodia PLC which entered into a Company
Voluntary Arrangement in May 2004.



There are no other disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the
