Granting of security over the Company shares by Director

The Company announces that it has received notification from John Carson, non-executive director, that (subsequent to the shares being acquired on 25 September 2007 and 23 January 2008),  40,000 Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC ordinary shares of 25 pence are included in a portfolio over which a bank has a lien as security against a guarantee.

Mr Carson has remained the beneficial owner of these shares and retains the associated voting rights.
