Appointment of a New Director

Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr John Carson as an independent non-executive Director to the
Board, with effect from 25 June 2007.

Mr John Carson is a former partner of Baillie Gifford & Co, an independent firm
of Investment Managers, where he headed the department responsible for client
servicing and marketing. He is a chartered accountant and prior to joining
Baillie Gifford was a partner in Arthur Young (which subsequently merged to
become Ernst & Young).

Mr Carson currently has no beneficial interest in the shares of the Company.

There are no disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing
Rules.
