DUNEDIN INCOME GROWTH INVESTMENT TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 8 September 2006, Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC purchased 70,000
of its own 25p ordinary shares at 234.6429 pence per share.  These shares will
be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
156,717,935 (excluding treasury shares) and 157,650,735 (including treasury
shares) ordinary shares of 25p each.  The number of ordinary shares of 25p held
in treasury is 932,800.
