DX expands fleet with over 300 new vehicles

DX, a leading provider of delivery solutions, including parcel freight, secure courier, 2-Man and logistics services, is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its delivery fleet with the addition of over 300 new vehicles, taking the Group's fleet to over 900 vehicles.

DX has added a range of new vehicles to its fleet, including over 150 vans, including 65 bespoke vehicles for carrying irregular dimension and weight freight, 50 trailers, 50 tractor units and over 120 trucks, with vehicles liveried in DX branding. All DX vehicles are now fitted with advanced telemetry, vehicle camera and driver comfort and safety technology.

The new vehicles will serve both of the Group's divisions, DX Freight and DX Express, and are being rolled out across the Group's nationwide network.  They will increase the capacity and operational effectiveness of both divisions, supporting the Group's ongoing expansion.

The investment marks the latest step in DX's extensive expenditure programme to support future growth and the ongoing expansion of its network. Investment is focused on sites, technology and equipment. DX has already opened six new depots over the course of last year and this year, with further openings scheduled over the coming months. Additional investment in Group infrastructure is planned in both divisions.

DX sees significant growth opportunities for both DX Freight and DX Express, and expects to increase market share through its concentrated focus on setting market-leading customer service standards.

Lloyd Dunn, Chief Executive Officer at DX (Group) plc, commented:

"The addition of over 300 new vehicles is a significant expansion of our fleet, and part of our wider investment programme in the business. The new vehicles support our ambitious growth plans, increasing our capacity and operational efficiency in support of our ambitious growth plans.

"We have further investment planned across sites, technology and equipment, and with our aim to set market-leading customer service standards, DX is increasingly being recognised as the premier operator in its markets."
