Retirement of Chairman
DX, the provider of delivery solutions, including parcel freight, secure courier and logistics services, announces that Ron Series, Executive Chairman, is today retiring from the Board and the Company.
Ron retires with the good wishes of the Board and colleagues after joining DX as Chairman five years ago to help lead the turnaround of DX. He leaves the Group today in a strong financial and trading position, on the back of an excellent set of results, and with highly capable teams in place at all levels of the business.
The appointment of Ron's successor will be announced shortly.
Jon Kempster, Senior Independent Director of DX (Group) plc, said,
"Ron has been a key member of the Board over the last five years and contributed to the Group's successful recovery since 2017, helping to set the turnaround strategy and path to profitable growth. He retires with the Board's grateful thanks and very best wishes."
Ron Series, retiring Chairman, said,
"DX has announced an excellent set of results this morning and is well-positioned for continued profit growth. Over the past five years, since I joined the Board as Executive Chairman to help lead DX's turnaround, the business has been transformed. I have full confidence in the management team and, with a solid platform now in place, look forward to the Company continuing to deliver strong results in the coming years."
