Director/PDMR Shareholding
The Company received notification on 12 February 2013 that Novotech Investment Limited (NIL), a company of which Professor Malcolm Young (CEO) is a director and in which he has options to subscribe for ordinary shares, had sold 15,000 ordinary shares in e-Therapeutics plc at GBP0.3204 per share on 11 February 2013. Professor Young had no knowledge of the proposed sale and, as one of three directors in NIL, had no ability by himself to prevent NIL from selling the shares. It is understood that NIL has disposed of the shares to enable NIL to discharge its obligations to third parties.
Following the sale, Professor Young's indirect holding in the Company has been reduced by 4,476 shares.
Today, on notification of the sale, Professor Young's self-invested personal pension fund purchased 4,476 shares at GBP 0.323 per share.
This has resulted in Professor Young's total beneficial interest in the Company remaining unchanged at 21,037,662 shares, representing 15.22% of the total issued share capital of the company. However, Professor Young's direct beneficial interest in the Company has increased to 20,644,958 shares, representing 14.94% of the total issued share capital of the Company (of which 10,334,717 shares are held by Professor Young and 10,310,241 shares are held by Professor Young's wife).
