APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR



easyJet plc announced today that John Browett (43) has been appointed to the
Board as a non-executive director. John will join DSG International plc as CEO
in early December, and is currently Operations Development Director of Tesco
plc.

John has held a number of executive director positions at Tesco since joining
the business as Group Strategy Director in 1998 after five years at the Boston
Consulting Group.

His experience as CEO of Tesco.com, from 1999 to 2004 where he was responsible
for formulating and delivering its strategy from launch to profitability, will
be particularly relevant to easyJet - one of Europe's biggest online retailers.



Sir Colin Chandler, Chairman of easyJet plc, said:

Biographical note

Educated at Cambridge and Wharton Business School, John Browett spent nine years
in a range of Director roles at Tesco plc from 1998 to 2007 (Group Strategy
Director, CEO Tesco.com, Operations Director - UK, and Operations Development
Director). John will join DSG International plc as CEO on 5th December 2007.

John is a UK national.
