APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

easyJet plc announced today that Charles Gurassa (55) has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director with effect from 27 June 2011. Charles will also be appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Senior Independent Director, with effect from 1 September 2011.

Charles has considerable experience within the airline and travel industry, previously working for TUI, British Airways and Thomas Cook and is currently Chairman of Genesis Housing Association and MACH and a Trustee at the National Trust. Charles has also previously been a non-executive director of Whitbread plc and Chairman of Virgin Mobile Holdings (UK) plc.

Sir Michael Rake, Chairman of easyJet plc, said:

Charles Gurassa said:
