easyJet plc ('easyJet')
The board of easyJet has received the resignation of Tony Illsley as a
non-executive director of the company. This resignation will take effect from
30 September 2005. At this time, Tony will have completed five years service as
a non-executive director having joined easyJet in September 2000.
Sir Colin Chandler, Chairman of easyJet said:
' While understanding Tony's decision to resign on completion of five years as a
member of the board, my colleagues and I will be sorry to see him go. He is an
excellent contributor to the work of the board and a trusted colleague who we
will miss. Tony's period of notice allows us time to recruit a successor and we
will make an appropriate announcement in due course.'
