EXERCISE OF OVER-ALLOTMENT OPTION FOR easyJet plc


Credit Suisse First Boston and UBS Warburg, as Joint Bookrunners, announce
that UBS Warburg, on behalf of the Underwriters, has today exercised in full
the over-allotment option over 9,450,000 new ordinary shares referred to in
the Listing Particulars issued by easyJet plc on 15 November 2000 relating to
the Global Offering of 63,000,000 new ordinary shares in easyJet plc. These
additional shares have been placed with institutional investors at the Offer
Price of 310p, raising additional gross proceeds of approximately £29.3
million. Total gross proceeds of approximately £224.6 million have been raised
for the company.
