Thomson Intermedia plc (AIM: THN, the 'Company') has been advised that Michael
Higgins, Non Executive Chairman, yesterday acquired 2,500 shares in the Company
at 242 pence per ordinary share and 15,000 shares at 250 pence.  He now holds a
total interest of 24,500 ordinary shares in the Company, representing some 0.08%
of its issued ordinary share capital.
