Thomson Intermedia received notification on 30 August 2005 that Herald
Investment Trust plc ('HIT') acquired 215,000 ordinary shares in the Company on
23 August 2005 as a result of a placing. As a result HIT has a notifiable
interest in 2,986,060 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company, representing
9.54 per cent. of the issued share capital.
