Thomson Intermedia received notification on 15 February 2005 from Eaglet
Investment Trust plc ('Eaglet') that, following a series of disposals, as set
out below, Eaglet is now interested in 2,263,298 ordinary shares of 25p each ('
Ordinary Shares'), representing approximately7.87% of the issued share capital
of the Company.

These Ordinary Shares will be held in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominees
Ltd., Account Designate EAGLET - 866379.
