Thomson Intermedia Plc ('Thomson Intermedia' or the 'Company')



Thomson Intermedia received notification on 18 March 2005 from Credit Suisse
First Boston (Europe) Limited (CSFBEL) that, following disposals, as at 16 March
2005, Credit Suisse First Boston group of companies no longer has a notifiable
interest in ordinary shares of the company for the purposes of section 198 of
the Act.



CSFBEL is a member of the Credit Suisse First Boston Group of companies.  Those
group companies which are direct or indirect holding companies of CSFB are,
under the terms of section 203 of the Act, each interested by attribution in any
shares in which CSFBEL is interested.
