Statement re Competition and Markets Authority ("CMA") Phase 2 referral of the disposal of Ebiquity's Advertising Intelligence division
Further to the Company's announcement on 13 June 2018, Ebiquity, a leading independent media and marketing consultancy, notes the announcement today by the CMA confirming that the Company's proposed disposal of its Advertising Intelligence business to Nielsen Media Research Limited ("Nielsen"), has now been referred for an in-depth Phase 2 investigation. The CMA has 24 weeks to complete the process.
Ebiquity and Nielsen will continue work closely with the CMA towards a successful conclusion. A further announcement will be made as and when appropriate.
