Eckoh awarded two-year contract worth £0.5 million with a leading UK logistics organisation
Eckoh plc (AIM: ECK), the UK's leading provider of customer service solutions using speech recognition, is pleased to announce that a leading UK logistics organisation has signed a combined contract renewal for the provision of automated tracking and redelivery services.
Parcel tracking
The automated customer information line, provided by Eckoh and launched in April 2006 allows customers to track parcels, change delivery address and specify a delivery date. To date the service has handled 14 million minutes of traffic.
Eckoh's service utilises advanced speech recognition and caller identification software using a unique consignment number to provide 24x7 parcel tracking and redelivery service capability. The platform recognises repeat callers and offers relevant, up-to-the-minute delivery status information.
Eckoh also provides a data collection and information announcement service, which is fully configurable by the organisation, allowing them to create campaigns whereby callers are invited to answer a series of questions or simply hear information. The audio is streamed and passed to the organisation to action appropriately.
