Eckoh signs Reseller Agreement with Global Payment Service Provider

Eckoh plc (AIM: ECK), the UK's leading provider of speech recognition and associated payment solutions, is pleased to announce a new reseller agreement with a global payment service provider.

Eckoh will provide the company with its PCI DSS compliant telephone payment products EckohPAY and EckohPROTECT both in the UK and overseas.

EckohPAY enables customers to make card payments over the phone conveniently and securely 24 hours a day and increases the efficiency of contact centre agents by freeing them up to service other calls. With EckohPROTECT the contact centre agent remains in contact with the caller throughout the payment process and the product carries out the authorisation in real-time providing the agent with visibility of the outcome. Because both products ensure that cardholder data does not enter the contact centre environment at any point during the process the operation is fully PCI DSS compliant and reduces PCI DSS audit scope for merchants.
