365 Corporation PLC 17 February 2000 365 Corporation and BT Cellnet's Genie Internet service team up to bring 365 sports content to BT WAP phone users. Cricket and rugby already available .. horse racing, Formula 1 and sports audio content to follow. Please note: There will be a presentation for analysts and fund managers at 9.15am for 9.30am this morning to comment on the Q3 results announcement, which will follow this announcement, and to demonstrate the initial WAP services being offered to BT Cellnet's Genie Internet WAP customers. This meeting will be held at the offices of Financial Dynamics, Holborn Gate, 26 Southampton Buildings, London, WC2A 1PB. 365 Corporation plc ('365') announces its first major step in delivering content to WAP-enabled mobile phones, as part of its strategy of delivering quality proprietary digital content over multiple platforms. 365 has created a set of services which will allow users of WAP phones to receive sports content previously only available on web-sites. An agreement has been reached with BT Cellnet's Genie Internet Division (www.genie.co.uk) whereby users of their WAP-enabled mobile phones can now receive up-to-the minute sports news and information. These services were originally created and developed by Datanet Marketing Services, the company which 365 recently acquired. As a result of the arrangement with Genie Internet, their customers can access Datanet's international rugby and cricket content, branded as Planet Rugby and Cricketline. WAP versions of Planet F1 (Formula 1 content), Racetips (horse racing) and Sportonair (audio content) are also under development. Crucial to 365's strategy of providing sports content to users of mobile phones is the combination of live match reports, statistics and topical news. As an example, Genie Internet users will this weekend be able to follow the Six Nations rugby internationals live on their mobile phones, constantly being updated on scores, scorers and all the relevant statistics (including possession, territorial domination, line-outs, scrums restarts etc.) Commenting on this key announcement as part of 365's multi digital platform strategy, Dan Thompson, Chief Executive of 365 Corporation plc, said: 'This is a very exciting development, which we are delighted to announce so soon after our agreed acquisition of Datanet. We highlighted WAP as a target platform during our flotation and so this agreement with mobile Internet market leaders BT Cellnet and Genie Internet is spot on our strategy of leveraging our content across multiple delivery platforms in order to maximise our revenue streams.' Brian Greasley, General Manager of Genie Internet said: '365's content is recognised as being some of the best in the business, and forms part of our strategy to provide the best, most relevant and comprehensive range of content via WAP for our customers.'
