The directors of Eckoh plc ('Eckoh' or 'Company') note the recent press
speculation regarding the 'You Say, We Pay' competition on Channel 4's 'Richard
and Judy Show', and specifically in relation to Eckoh's provision of premium
rate telephony services to the show.

The Company takes very seriously its obligations to ensure that its services
comply with the relevant regulatory codes. In this case, the Company alerted the
programme makers to the potential breach in regulations. As a result, we welcome
the proposed investigations by ICSTIS and Channel 4 with which we intend to
cooperate fully.'
