The  Board has been notified today that an employee has acquired 10,000 Lawrence
ordinary shares as a result of the exercise of options over the following:

10,000  ordinary  shares at a price of 2.025p per share granted  to  him  on  13
August 2003

Accordingly,  application has been made for 10,000 new  ordinary  shares  to  be
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on Wednesday 13 October
2004.

Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 26,990,407.
