Lawrence plc (the "Company" or "Lawrence")

                               Additional Listing

The  Board has been notified today that certain of the Company's employees  have
acquired in total 97,000 Lawrence ordinary shares as a result of the exercise of
options over the following:

12,000 ordinary shares at a price of 125p per share granted on 16 October 1998

33,960 ordinary shares at a price of 132p per share granted on 11 October 1999

51,040 ordinary shares at a price of 203p per share granted on 6 August 2003

Accordingly,  application has been made for 97,000 new  ordinary  shares  to  be
admitted  to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on Friday  15  October
2004.

Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 27,087,407.
