ECO receives further drug marketing authorisations
Lawrence plc is pleased to report that its Eco Animal Health (Eco) subsidiary
has received further marketing authorisations for Ecomectin, its veterinary anti-
parasitic endectocide.
These approvals have been received through the European Mutual Recognition
Procedure (MRP) and will now allow Eco to market Ecomectin injection in eleven
key European markets for the treatment of pigs. Ecomectin injection is already
authorised for the treatment of cattle and sheep. A further round of MRP
applications is in process to extend this claim for pigs into additional
important European markets.
Peter Lawrence, Chairman of Lawrence plc commented:
"This further authorisation is another important and valuable step for Eco. It
will enable us to extend our sales effort by providing new applications within
the fast growing European market for animal health products"
