ECO Animal Health - Update on Regulatory Approvals
On 13 February 2006 Lawrence plc announced that the Committee for Veterinary
Medicinal Products (CVMP) of The European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal
Products (EMEA) would meet in mid March. At that meeting the CVMP would
consider, amongst others, two Aivlosin applications for the treatment of enteric
(digestive) diseases in pigs submitted by ECO Animal Health, a wholly owned
subsidiary of Lawrence plc.
In line with normal practice, ECO has not been formally advised of the decisions
reached at the CVMP meeting but understands the committee's opinion will be
published after the next EMEA meeting which will be held from 19 to 21 April
2006.
