Lawrence   plc   was   notified   today   in
accordance with sections 198 to 202  of  the
Companies Act 1985 (as amended) and Rule  15
of  the  AIM  Rules, that on  11  June  2004
Schroder   Investment   Management   Limited
purchased 90,000 Lawrence ordinary shares of
5p each and accordingly now has a holding of
2,197,987   ordinary   shares   representing
approximately  8.213  per   cent.   of   the
Company's issued share capital.
