                  Lawrence plc - New Distribution Agreement -

                    Further Animal Health Drug Registrations

The Board is pleased to announce that our ECO Animal Health subsidiary (ECO) has
gained a further registration for a Cattle Pour On in the UK.  The Janssen
Animal Health division of Johnson & Johnson will now sell this cattle
antiparasitic under the brand name QUALIMINTIC.  This follows a very successful
relationship between the two companies in Europe.  ECO intends to continue with
this multi branding approach in the UK and expects UK sales in the current
financial year attributable to this product to be in excess of £1 million.

We have also been awarded, through our office in Shanghai, a registration for
ECOMECTIN Injection in China where it will be used primarily as an antiparasitic
in pigs.  We are in the process of appointing local distributors and expect
sales to start later this year.  China is a very large market as over half a
billion pigs are consumed there annually: The Directors therefore consider that
the sales potential for ECOMECTIN is very substantial.

We are expecting further important drug registrations over the coming months and
will keep shareholders advised of progress.

its subsidiaries.  Each subsidiary also has a web site, which gives further
information about that business and its products.
