Further to the announcement made on 19 January 2001, stating that Lawrence plc
('the Company') was in talks that may lead to a possible offer; the Company
continues with discussions that may or may not lead to a possible offer being
made for the Company.
A further announcement will be made in due course as and when appropriate.
