           Aivlosin® registration and marketing developments in Japan

ECO  Animal  Health  Group  plc  (ECO) is pleased to  announce  two  significant
developments  in  the market for Aivlosin® in Japan, which will provide  further
opportunities for sales and profit growth.

ECO  has  been  granted a further indication to its marketing authorisation  for
Aivlosin®  Premix  for pigs from the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture,  Forestry
and Fisheries. This new Aivlosin® marketing authorisation, for the treatment and
prevention of the enteric (digestive) disease ileitis, complements the  existing
indication for mycoplasmal respiratory disease.

As part of its global marketing programme, ECO has appointed ASKA Pharmaceutical
Company  Ltd.,  a  major animal health and pharmaceutical  company  as  its  new
distributor for Aivlosin® in Japan. ASKA is an important Japanese company with a
well established distribution network.
