                      POSITIVE OPINION ON NEW CONCENTRATED
                              AIVLOSIN® ORAL POWDER
                         FORMULATION FOR PIGS IN EUROPE


ECO  Animal  Health  Group plc is pleased to announce that  its  subsidiary  ECO
Animal  Health Limited (ECO) has received a positive opinion from  the  European
Medicines Agency (EMEA) for a new concentrated form of Aivlosin® oral powder for
pigs throughout Europe.

This  new  formulation  provides  a convenient  method  for  the  treatment  and
prevention  of the respiratory disease Swine Enzootic Pneumonia and the  enteric
disease  Swine  Dysentery,  and the treatment of  the  enteric  disease  Porcine
Proliferative Enteropathy for pig farms of all sizes.

In  addition  this  new  concentrated form, with  compact  packaging  and  lower
transportation  costs,  will  yield cost advantages  at  the  manufacturing  and
distribution levels.

This  development  will help market penetration in major  pig  markets  such  as
Germany  and  Denmark  where  oral powders are used in  preference  to  licensed
premixes.

The EMEA's positive opinion marks yet another important step in ECO's continuing
development  of  Aivlosin®,  its  patented macrolide  antibiotic,  as  a  global
veterinary product.
