Statement in response to press speculation
The Board of EcoSecurities Group plc notes the recent press speculation and confirms that Bruce Usher has expressed the wish to step down as Chief Executive Officer when a suitable successor is appointed. The Board has engaged an international executive search firm.
Mr Usher, who is stepping down to pursue personal interests, remains fully committed to the Company. He and the Board believe that a new Chief Executive Officer, located close to the head office, will be important in achieving the next stage of the Group's development.
The Board confirms trading is in line with its expectations and expects to report its Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2008 on 12 March 2009.
