                          AGM and Final Dividend dates


The Board of Anglo Pacific Group PLC, (APG), is pleased to announce that the
2007 Annual General Meeting will be held at 17 Hill Street, London, W1J 5NZ on
Wednesday 25th April 2007 at 9:30am.

Subject to approval at this AGM, the final dividend for the year ending 31st
December 2006 of 3.75p net per ordinary share will be paid on 3rd August 2007 to
shareholders registered on the share register at the close of business on 22nd
June 2007.

The shares will be quoted ex dividend in London on 20th June 2007 and in
Australia on 18th June 2007.

Shareholders will again be given the opportunity to elect to receive a scrip
dividend instead of cash.
